The Woodlands, TX is located just north of Houston and is considered one of the most well-planned communities in the nation. Designed as a suburb with a small neighborhood feel, The Woodlands gets its name from the thousands of acres of wooded and green areas surrounding the town. Within the community, there is plenty to do for the whole family, including Market Street, a premier shopping destination, Lake Woodlands with hundreds of bike trails and kayaking opportunities, and Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. There are also a number of great restaurants such as Jasper's and Perry's Steakhouse & Grille — two of our staff's favorite places to dine.
