Prepectoral Implant Breast Reconstruction and 3D Nipple Tattoo in The Woodlands

This is a delightful woman who was diagnosed with right breast cancer after she felt a mass in her breast. She underwent bilateral skin-sparing mastectomies with immediate prepectoral breast reconstruction with smooth Sientra AlloX2 tissue expanders. FlexHD acellular dermal matrix was also used as part of the prepectoral technique . The patient proceeded with recommended adjuvant chemotherapy treatments. She returned for the second stage of reconstruction with a stated goal to have larger, fuller breasts. During her second surgery, the tissue expanders were replaced with 595 cc Mentor MemoryGel high profile smooth round silicone gel implants. Autologous fat grafting was also performed (90+ cc per breast) to help deliver smooth contour and good breast symmetry. Once healed, the patient completed her breast reconstruction with 3D nipple areola tattooing in the office. Photographs taken 2 years after her mastectomies show fuller reconstructed breasts with excellent symmetry. The patient was very happy and satisfied with her breast reconstruction results.
