Symptomatic Macromastia improved with Breast Reduction in The Woodlands, TX

Procedure Details

This woman in her 50s suffered from symptomatic breast hypertrophy with chronic migraine headaches, neck pain, shoulder pain, and bra strap grooving. She reported a 38 DDD cup preoperative bra size. She underwent bilateral reduction mammoplasty (breast reduction) primarily for symptom relief; the resulting breast lift was an added benefit. Wise pattern (inverted-T incision) breast reduction was performed using a superior medial pedicle technique. Tissue weight removed was 1044 grams from the larger right breast and 922 grams from the left breast.
