This is a woman in her 40's who wore a 36G cup brassiere and complained of large, heavy, sagging breasts. She suffered from chronic shoulder pain associated with bra strap grooving, neck pain and upper back pain. She was offered bilateral reduction mammoplasty to reduce the size and weight of her breasts. A Wise pattern, superior medial pedicle technique was used to remove over 465 grams of tissue from each breast. The breast shape and nipple position were improved as well. The patient healed well without complication and she reported significant symptom relief.
